Saving Items of the Past

HGAC's Architectural Salvage Warehouse is located at the Daniel Lady Farm, 986 Hanover Road, Gettysburg, PA. It was established to encourage the reuse of items that otherwise might end up in a landfill.

We have a steady stream of donated items delivered during our formally open days, many of which are sold as soon as we can assign a price. We have received a quantity of antique and vintage electric wood working tools, antique wood boxes of sort, and vintage garden tools.

Your warehouse purchases help support HGAC's ongoing preservation efforts as well as the upkeep of the historic GAR Hall, celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2022!

The warehouse is open the first and third Saturday of each month April through October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. When the warehouse is closed, appointments for donations can be made by emailing, or by calling the HGAC office at 717-334-5185. Please be sure to leave your name and phone number/email so we can return your call promptly. Shoppers seeking a particular item can also leave an inquiry on email or voicemail.

We will be happy to set-up a time for delivery of your donations or for you to make purchases at your convenience. Our inventory is fluid, so it is wise to visit often to discover the many unusual items we acquire as the stock rotates quickly.

Grandma's cast iron kitchen sinks, washtubs and buckets, multi-paneled doors, shutters, wavy glass, civil war era windows, glass insulators, fireplace mantles, lamp parts and globes, chandeliers & reproductions, cast iron locks, doorknobs, restored and caned maple dining chairs, wood & metal beds and many vintage electric woodworking tools. These and more discoveries and re-purposing projects await the alert shopper. Period donations are always welcome!

For more information, please contact the HGAC office at 717-334-5185.

The Architectural Warehouse Committee meets the second Tuesday of each odd-numbered month, except January, 7 p.m. at the G.A.R. Hall (or remotely).

100% of all proceeds and additional donations will help fund HGAC's preservation efforts in Adams County, as well as the upkeep of our historic GAR Hall.
