HGAC's 2026 Historic Barns Tour will be held on

Tour Hours: 10 am - 4 pm

Features 5 historic barns in Gettysburg/Adams County 
Tour starts at the Historic Round Barn

at 298 Cashtown Road, Biglerville, PA 17307

Proceeds benefit HGAC's
Barn Preservation 
Project and Grant Program.

  • Check-in to start the tour: 10 a.m. until noon at the Round Barn 

  • Price is $35 per adult in advance

  • Kids under 18 are FREE! 

  • Bring your Grandchildren! 

  • Children and youth must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Day of event price is $40 per adult.

 
After checking in at the Round Barn, participants will receive a tour booklet and a map showing the locations of the barns as well as other points of interest. After exploring the Round Barn, participants may drive to any barn, in any order and stay as long as they like. You can pay for tickets at check-in with cash, check or credit card.

Welcome to the HGAC Historic Barns Tour!

There will be fun and educational activities at each barn including a timber framing demonstration, and living history characters demonstrating arts and crafts, farm-related activities and even live music from the period of the 1800's when the barns on the Tour were built.  

 

To purchase advance registrations for the HGAC Historic Barns Tour, tickets will be available online here on EventBrite. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event at the Round Barn. 

 

This event is presented by Historic Gettysburg-Adams County (HGAC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1975 to foster the preservation and interpretation of culturally significant structures and sites in Gettysburg and Adams County, Pennsylvania.
