Historic Gettysburg-Adams County, held its Annual Membership Meeting at the historic G.A.R. Hall on Monday evening, May 5, 2014. Over 70 people attended the preservation award dinner that was catered by The Dobbin House.

After president, Jonathan Ingram's welcome remarks, members and friends were treated to a wonderful meal and the preservation awards ceremonies. This year's House Award winners include:

• The Bigham House, circa 1860, Plaque # 128, Gary and Laurey Schroeder, 315 Glen Road, Landenberg, PA

• Dolly Menges House, circa 1780, Plaque # 129, Tim and Lisa Pohlman, 1036 Idaville-York Springs Road, Gardners, PA

• Willow Springs Tavern, circa 1795, Plaque #130, Dean and Ann Norwich, 2206 Old Rt. 30, Ortanna, PA

In addition to the house awards, HGAC gave a Barn Preservation Award and plaque to The Eiker Barn, circa 1830, Bill and Bonnie Braun, 2655 Pumping Station Road, Fairfield, PA 17320
