Historic Gettysburg-Adams County

HGAC is a non-profit organization formed in 1975 to spearhead and coordinate efforts to preserve and restore the historic heritage of Adams County's townships and boroughs. An all-volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the membership, guides the organization.
Under its Articles of Incorporation filed
with the Pennsylvania Department of State,
the Purposes of the organization are:
"To foster and participate in the preservation, interpretation and welfare of the historic, architectural, scenic and culturally significant areas, districts, sites, structures, objects,and activities, and townscapes of the
Borough of Gettysburg and Adams County,
the Gettysburg National Cemetery
and the Eisenhower National Historic Site,
and to encourage their appreciation by the general public."

We meet as a board on
the first Thursday of each month
at the GAR Hall
53 E. Middle Street
Gettyburg, PA

*** Help Needed! ***

Pull out the Eggs, Sugar, Milk, Flour and Rolling Pins
and let's bake some items for our Pig Roast and Bean Soup Sale.
If you can't attend we could really, really use your baking skills

and help for our bake sale.

We are in need of cookies, pies, cakes and brownies.
Then… the cookies, brownies and other finger food should be cut

and packaged in small snack size bags.

Cake and pies will be sliced the day of the sale.
Your help in the snacks and baking area are greatly needed

and very much appreciated.

Please call and let us know what you are able to contribute to our sale
and when you can drop them off at the GAR hall.
