Historic Gettysburg-Adams County
Preservation Society's fifth annual BarnArt Exhibit was held June 9, 10 and 11 at the GAR Hall on E. Middle St., Gettysburg.
The artists' reception, with awards, was held on Saturday. Approximately 180 persons attended the exhibit
of nearly 50 pieces of artwork over the three-day period.
Prize winners in the Adult Fine Art include Amy Lindenberger, 1st; Barbara Ebaugh,
2nd' Dan Kessel, 3rd.
In Adult Photography, Matt Topper, 1st; Bert Danielson, 2nd; Carol herren Foerster, 3rd; and
Ruth Sullivan, Honorable Mention.
In Student Fine Art, Grade 1-6, Dorothy Marquet, 1st; Victoria Harvey, Honorable Mention; Kaitlyn Desmond, Honorable Mention.
In Student Fine Art, Grade 7-12,
Megan Riddle, 1st; Julia Freed and Marty May, 2nd; Jennie Troutman, 3rd.
During the three-day Fringe Festival event, attendees "voted" with dollars for their favorite
artwork: People's Choice. The People's Choice Award, a gift certificate donated by the Hickory Bridge Farm, went to
Kathy Bargine.
